When the world is predictable, it becomes boring! While social norms allow people to live in proximity with a degree of safety and cohesion, overemphasizing convention discourages creativity and uniqueness. It sometimes even encourages you to repress or disguise the real you in favor of being ‘normal’. Getting in touch with your true voice is sometimes scary, because you worry that you might not fit in with what’s expected. But remember, there’s no greater contribution you can make to the world than really being your unique and wonderful self.

It’s the best you can be.
