When we have entrenched beliefs, it’s normal to look for information that confirms our perspective. Just remember people with different opinions do the same. Just because they don’t agree with us doesn’t mean they’re wrong. They’ve probably found as much support for their point of view as we have for ours. Great conversations and deeper understanding come opening to the possibility that multiple viewpoints could be partially valid.
