Don’t believe that you need to know ‘the truth’ about the horrors in the world in order to be an ‘informed’ citizen. You’ll never know the truth. Anything you can comprehend is a reduction, full of generalizations and over-simplifications. Don’t spend time compiling lists of the shortcomings you perceive from your limited perspective. It won’t be accurate and attempting it won’t serve you.
