Stress shows up when you’re not aligned with your desires. For instance, you want to lose weight, but you eat too much; you’re unhappy with your level of fitness, but you don’t work out; you’re dissatisfied at work, but you do nothing to improve it; your relationships are adversarial, but you refuse to soften. If you can relate and feel stressed because your life isn’t matching your ideals, don’t beat yourself up. You need is a good dose of self-love. Start by taking one baby step each day in the right direction.
