Everyone sees life through the lens created by their programming. How anyone responds to you has at least as much to do with their filter as it does with the truth of who you are. Because you have no power over that lens, you have no control over their interpretations. Since everyone is creating their idea of you according to their mostly unconscious beliefs and perceptions, the smartest thing you can do is act with integrity and compassion, communicate with kindness and let the chips fall where they may.
