Very few people ever regret attempting a challenging endeavor, even if they failed at it. But, it is common to feel remorse about having avoided something you really wanted to do because you were afraid. Failure can be inspiring, motivating and positive. Fear of failure is immobilizing and diminishing. If you’re on the fence about trying something new because you’re worried that you might not succeed, ask yourself if avoiding the feeling of failure is preferable to regretting you never gave it a try…
