Digesting Emotions

Some experiences are so unpleasant that it’s hard to imagine how they’re ‘for us’. But everything can be. Even experiences in which we feel humiliated, hurt, angry, resentful or unjustly characterized, can benefit us. If we digest them from the right angle, they can result in the biggest insights (only, of course, after earnestly feeling our feelings and allowing those emotions to subside). When we sincerely reflect upon them, they can teach us how to pivot, tack, adjust and adapt our choices and behavior to live in greater harmony. Sometimes, what’s in it for us is a really important…
