Changing Other’s Minds

Trying to change someone’s mind is almost always futile, especially when we use tactics like blame, shame and guilt. What we each think and believe are products of our conditioning or programming. We think what we think because it makes sense to us using the metrics available to us individually. We actually only see what fits into our belief system. The best way to get others to open their minds is by modeling the behavior. When we listen, others are much more likely to listen to us. Just the intention to understand rather than change, makes…

Change more likely.
