Opinions and Identities

If others’ opinions rile you, reflect on why. Ask yourself if their perspective threatens your sense of self. Remember that no one has an unbiased, totally accurate point of view. You might be confusing your version of reality with the actual truth, which very few people (if any) really see. Angry reactions are just a reminder that, even though everybody has an opinion, you may be taking yours too seriously. Opinions come from conditioning and everybody’s is different. It’s not who you really are. Life is a playground in a world you essentially make up…

Enjoy it.
