The False Self

The narrator in our head constantly judges us and everyone else. It’s not mindful of what we need or want, in fact, it’s not even our own voice. It’s an accumulation of thoughts, opinions and ideas adopted from family, teachers and friends who generally had our best interest in mind, but were often influenced by their own fear. It’s important to question that inner critic in order to discern the difference between these alternate points of view. The false one is likely to scare us into taking action. The authentic one guides us with…

Trust and love.
