Receiving Gratitude

Neural imaging data from scientific research on the practice of gratitude has determined that the greatest benefits for our health and well-being come from receiving gratitude. Whether we receive gratitude from another or we’re hearing a story about someone else receiving gratitude, our circuits for gratitude become highly stimulated and positively affect our entire being. The method is to sit quietly, imagine a time when someone was grateful for something you did, or find a story that details someone else feeling grateful for the kindness of another. Embody the feeling for just 5 minutes, three times a week and…
