If we think of our lives as an exclusive resort, we know we need to maintain the grounds and keep things up. Deferred maintenance costs us dearly down the road. We are in charge of who gets to come to the resort and spend time with us. We get to decide what the rules are and what kind of behavior is off-limits for us.
